A peer-led group offering a safe, confidential space to be your authentic self while navigating mental health challenges within the local LGBTQIA2+ community.
This group might be for you if:
- You identify as LGBTQIA2+ and live with a mental health condition
- You want to share and learn coping strategies in a judgment-free environment
- You're facing discrimination, rejection, or trauma related to your identity
- You're looking to connect with others who share similar challenges and triumphs

All NAMI programs are offered at no cost to participants.
You’ll get a chance to share what’s going on in your life … but you can also just listen and learn. Participate to whatever degree you feel comfortable.
Yes, everything shared in the group stays within the group. We ask all participants to respect each other’s privacy.
You’re welcome here. Many people are on a journey of self-discovery, and this group is a safe space to explore these feelings.
NAMI has offered Q Connect weekly since Spring 2023.
Q Connect groups are led by members of the local LGBTQIA2+ community who have completed a NAMI facilitator training and passed a background screening.
