Other ways to give
Give! Campaign
Through the Give! Campaign, you can join a community-wide movement to “juice” philanthropy in the Pikes Peak region. Select NAMI from among 65 participating nonprofits between November and Jan. 3, and we’ll get the funds in February. Often, matching funds and friendly competitions between nonprofits can lead to your generosity having an even bigger impact.
Empty Stocking Fund
The Empty Stocking Fund, an initiative of the Gazette Charities and El Pomar foundations, collects donations from across the community and divides them among 20 thoroughly vetted health and human service agencies. (NAMI is grateful to have been selected in 2020.) While the campaign is supercharged during the holidays, donations are accepted year-round.
Community rewards program
NAMI Colorado Springs is now part of the “Community Rewards” program offered by King Soopers and City Market. If you enroll and choose NAMI Colorado Springs as your beneficiary, a percentage of every purchase you make at the store will go to NAMI. And it can really add up — a small family can raise, say, $25 each quarter for its chosen organization after taking just two minutes to enroll.
If you already have a loyalty card — or a phone number that you use to access the store’s loyalty program — you’re halfway there. If not, you can get signed up online. Click on “Enroll now” and follow the prompts. When you’re asked to search for the organization you want to support, type “National Alliance on Mental Illness – Co Spgs” into the search bar (not “NAMI Colorado Springs”). Or just enter our organization code, “QR565.”
