Below the Surface
The Below the Surface campaign encourages local teens to consider trying free, confidential support by text. Simply by sending “TALK” to 38255, or by dialing 988, anyone can connect with a crisis counselor.
Materials for youth, for free
NAMI Colorado Springs first developed Below the Surface posters, cards, stickers and other materials in tandem with local high school students and the Design Rangers creative strategy firm. Generous funding came from the Colorado Springs Health Foundation, Diversus Health, the Carl George Bjorkman Foundation and Rocky Mountain Crisis Partners.
The campaign has since been licensed to Colorado’s Behavioral Health Administration for statewide distribution. To access materials at no cost, please visit here.
