A text-line awareness campaign that encourages local teens to consider texting or calling 988 when in need of support.
Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training
Specialized training in which uniformed law enforcement officers learn better responses to emergencies involving people with mental illness.
In Our Own Voice
An opportunity for audiences to challenge assumptions and stereotypes by hearing directly from someone living with a mental health condition.
Mental Health First Aid
A national program to teach anyone the skills to respond to the signs of mental illness and substance use.

Most often accessed as a four-hour course by professionals and para-professionals who work with people experiencing mental illness.
Resource & referral line

Sharing Hope
A free, culturally-affirming space where Black and African Ancestry community members share stories, wisdom, and support for mental wellness.
Voices of Hope & Recovery
Often hosted by mental health facilities, a presentation in which NAMI team members share recovery stories and community resources.
