2016 Table Captain Information
Dear NAMI Table Captain,
We are honored to have your support as a table captain for NAMI’s 6th Annual Breakfast and Fundraiser. We’re returning to the Antlers in downtown Colorado Springs and, with your help, hope to welcome 700 guests to the breakfast on Friday, May 6, 2016.
In 2015, NAMI raised over $90,000 at the breakfast. Proceeds from the breakfast represent 30% of NAMI’s annual operating budget. Your support and participation are truly vital to our success — we could not do this without your generosity and the generosity of your guests!
Our theme is Embracing the Light, Next Gen NAMI, and our program will highlight NAMI’s newest programs for younger people. You’ll meet some of the dedicated volunteers who support these programs. You’ll also learn about NAMI’s increased focus on changing lifelong outcomes for those with mental illness – by supporting early education, identification and intervention. You and your guests will be inspired and encouraged by these young people and their amazing stories!
The documents below contain information that will assist you in your table captain duties. Your primary goal is to fill a table with 9 guests who are interested in learning more about and supporting NAMI. I encourage you to read through the documents for tips about inviting guest, facts about NAMI, highlights of the breakfast, and a list of our sponsors.
Please invite as many guests as you would like. In fact, I recommend that you over-invite as inevitably someone may not be able to come at the last minute. It’s easier to handle overflow than to find someone to fill a seat at the last minute.
It’s important that we have your guest list by Friday, April 29, so we can begin to organize seating. I encourage you to submit your guest list as soon as your table is filled. If there are changes after you submit your list, please contact me as soon as possible.
On May 4 or 5, I will send you and your guests your table assignments/table numbers and a map of the room. A room map and table assignment information will also be available at the Antlers on May 6.
